“Living in Christ, Serving in Love”
|
Living in Christ begins with knowing that Jesus Christ is the son of God. We want our love of Jesus Christ to be the center of our lives. In everything we do, in everything we say, we strive to express God’s love for us, and our love for him.
Generally, serving in love means caring for people. Our belief in Jesus Christ is not enough by itself. We choose to put our faith into action; we serve God by serving others. Specifically, we serve in love when we serve at a soup kitchen, build a home for Habitat for Humanity, assemble disaster relief packages, comfort orphans, befriend a shut-in or rejoice with each other in times of joy. The list of how our church family serves others grows by the day. Our serving helps someone in need. It is hands on. It is real.
