Each year at Vacation Bible School we focus on a worthy mission project and ask the children to bring in either monetary donations or items being collected by a certain group. This year our mission focus is on clean drinking water and helping the people of Liberia. The Camphor Mission is near and dear to our hearts here at BUMC, as our own Janet Kleckner spent some time there this past January. The need for fresh water is dire. The VBS children learned about fresh water and the process water must go through to make it potable. If you would like to donate toward this worthy cause please mark your donation as "Blessed with clean water" and drop it in the offering plate.
