What's Available for Kids on Sundays?

Crib & Toddler
Ages birth to three years
Nursery care is available during both worship services and during Sunday School Classes in the crib and toddler room and nursery located in room 206.

Godly Play
For Children ages 3, 4, and 5
Godly Play is a method of Christian Education and spiritual direction.  Godly Play teaches children the art of using religious language - sacred story, parable, silence and liturgical action - helping them become more aware of God’s presence in their lives each day.

Rotation
First through fifth grades
Bible stories and concepts taught through kid-friendly multimedia workshops.  The same Bible story will be taught in each of the workshops during the 5-7 week period.  This approach will teach a different aspect of the story each week providing the children a chance to delve deeper and explore God’s word.

Young Disciples
Sixth through eighth grades
A traditional style Sunday School class that focuses on spiritual formation and a deeper understanding of our faith.  Sixth and seventh graders follow work toward applying God’s Word to their everyday life.  Our 8th graders continue on their faith journey as they ready themselves for Confirmation in May.

High School
Ninth through twelfth grades
Biblical truth is not just information. James told us to be “doers of the Word and not hearers only” (James 1:22). Our high school curriculum helps our students see that God’s Word is relevant to their lives today.  And we have a lot of fun!

Thank You!

As people of faith, we find God’s presence in those who have been blessings to us.  At our weekly Staff Meetings, we have recently lifted up the following people in prayer, thanking God for them and the way they touch the lives of others:

Alan Scheufler and his work with YSP.
Megan Culley for the gift of music.
Jeff Fessler, whose talents with a paintbrush are amazing and appreciated.
Craig Kotnik, whose help on Sunday mornings is invaluable.
Jim Frederick who dropped what he was doing one Saturday morning to tend to a water leak at the church.
Ruth McDonel who is always willing to reach out to people in our church family when they are in the hospital or ailing.
Joanie Olszko who makes sure everything is in order for the start of the Sunday School season - and every Sunday!
Bob Lundholm who is always there when the church calls and always serves with a smile.
Jane Petrie who’s talents for organization are renown and whose garage sale expertise is invaluable!
