Wellness Series – 2026

Caring for the Whole Person at Brecksville UMC — Mind, Body, and Spirit

As we step into a new year, we’re excited to offer a Wellness Speaker Series designed to nurture the full wellbeing of our community. Each month, we’ll welcome a guest expert to help us explore practices that support healing, strength, and wholeness.

February 22 at 6 pm: Pelvic Floor Health

  • Caring for ourselves is a spiritual practice — and one that looks different at every age and stage of life. This February, we’re excited to host a Wellness Series gathering focused on Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, led by Dr. Belle Panza, PT, DPT, on Saturday, February 22 at 6 pm in the Brecksville UMC Fellowship Hall. This inclusive and accessible session is for everyone — all genders, all bodies, and all seasons of life. Together we’ll explore how pelvic floor health connects to everyday movement, posture, core strength, bladder health, and overall well-being. Whether you’re feeling changes in your body, supporting someone you love, or simply curious to learn more, this evening offers practical information in a supportive, judgment-free space. Come as you are. Bring your questions, your curiosity, or just yourself. You belong here.

March 22 at 6 pm: The Benefits of Yoga

  • Dr. Tori Whitehair, a Rehabilitation Physician with MetroHealth will help us explore how yoga can increase flexibility, balance, and peace of mind through mindful movement and breath.

April 19 at 6 pm: Craniosacral Therapy & Supportive Group Healing Circles

  • Tina Mihalek will teach us that gentle, hands-on techniques and shared healing spaces can calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote resilience.

All are welcome! Come learn, ask questions, and care for your whole self in the new year!
