About Machala Comenschek
A Cleveland native, Machala is a vocalist, music director, and teacher who received her bachelor’s degree in Music from Cleveland State University. She has performed in many different environments and genres of vocal work, but her focus has been in classical/opera and contemporary sacred music. Machala will become a first-year full time teacher this fall, teaching K-8 Music at St. Gabriel School in Mentor, Ohio. One day, she plans to pursue a Master’s in Music Education or Choral Conducting.
