About Dana Schwendeman

Having received her undergraduate degree from The University of Mount Union with a major in pre-ministry/writing and minors in religious studies and gender studies, Dana completed her graduate work at Methodist Theological School with a Master’s in Practical Theology focusing on Youth Ministry.

She is looking forward to getting to know the youth in our church family and finding new ways to reach out to the youth in our community. She has a great vision for creating an inclusive and vibrant youth ministry at Brecksville UMC!

Dana grew up in Northeast Ohio and she and her husband, Jamie, are happily setting up their new apartment here. In her off hours, you may find her playing the ukulele or reading (or re-reading) Harry Potter!
